The Interior Ministry announced the balance of operations against PKK carried out between 12-19 December.

In the statement, it was stated that 924 people were taken into custody for allegedly helping PKK in 45 raids on PKK.

In the explanations, following expressions were used, “213 operations were carried out in the last week. 2 dead, 1 wounded and 4 alive, totally 7 terrorists were neutralized in these operations carried out throughout the country. Resulting in these operations, 24 shelters used by terrorists, 21 hand-made explosives / mines destroyed, 700 kilograms of explosives used in the construction of the explosive, 5 hand bombs, 29 of Kalashnikov weapons and 53 weapons in various diameters were seized."

In the announcement the following statements were made:

"89 kilograms of heroin, 806 kilograms of cannabis, and 30 kilograms of opium gum, 22 thousand 76 drugs, and one kilogram of synthetic cannabinoids (bonsai), 3 kilograms of methamphetamine were seized in the drug operations for the prevention of terrorism financing which its value is 7 million 18 thousand 920 TL in the market. One million 461 thousand 862 smuggled cigarettes and 10 thousand 474 liters of fuel oil were seized and 273 people were taken into custody in this scope, which its value is 10 million 275 thousand 774 TL in market value.

163 were seized by the Coast Guard Command in the seas, totally 2 thousand 2 immigrants recorded in the description of the detention. 88 ISIL members were taken under custody, 5 were arrested. (ILKHA)
