The European Orphan-Association has delivered basic food supplies to the Chorpara refugee camp, where the Arakan (Rohingya) Muslims are staying on the border of Bangladesh.

The survivors of the Arakanese Muslims, who were exposed to the inhuman attacks of Myanmar State and Buddhist gangs, turned into a great drama. Arakanese Muslims, whose screams have not heard by the world, are waiting for help from Islamic countries.

Arakanese Muslims whose houses, fields, schools and mosques are burned and destroyed and their bodies are thrown alive on the fire. Those who took refuge in refugee camps in Bangladesh are suffering from hunger and diseases in hard conditions.

In refugee camps, they particularly need food, food for babies, clothing and medicines. There are no doctors to cure those who are wounded. The Arakanese Muslims, who are often on call for help, have delivered basic food supplies through the organization of the European Orphan-Association.

"Need urgent help"

The European Orphan-Association President Hüseyin Ateş, who has been presenting to Ilke News Agency (ILKHA) on the aid provided, said:

"The Chorpara camp is an old refugee camp where the Arakanese are staying. Previously, 2,500 people were staying. After the last attacks on Myanmar, hundreds of people have arrived. Those who escaped Myanmar first take refuge here because this camp is zero to the border of Bangladesh. There is a very crowded population. People are trying to stay alive under difficult circumstances. Emergency help is needed. We have delivered basic food items in the first place within the bounds of our possibilities. Our work continues."

"We are waiting for charitable support for the charity campaign we launched"

Hüseyin Ateş, present the call to the philanthropists and said, "In the camp, firstly, there is need of medical supplies, stable food, water, sheltered places. Beds and blankets are needing. The weather is very cold at nights. We recall urgent help. We had some relief work in these camps for the past two months. After the Sacrifice Eid, we have opened 6 wells. In the past days, with the help of philanthropists, we opened 5 more wells. But not enough. We have launched a campaign and we expect all Muslims to support this campaign. As European Orphan-Association, we wish to eliminate all the victims in the world. We wish for the end of the living atrocities. I hope that we will continue to help in this way without distinction of religion, language, race in the framework of our possibilities as much as possible. We kindly ask them to support our campaign to our benefactor again."
