Turkish President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Mehmet Görmez made a statement that the Zionist Israel has drafted legislation to prohibit the reading of loudspeakers of azan from mosques.

In a statement he made in Qatar, Görmez Turkish President of Religious Affairs, said that a country that has made great evils for occupied Al-Aqsa and Palestinian, emphasized that the attempt to ban azan means to deny the existence of Islam and Muslims in Jerusalem. Görmez used the following expressions:

"Actually, when I traveled from Turkey, I got this news and I felt very upset. The fact that a country that has made great evils for years by occupying Al-Aqsa and for occupying lands of our  Palestinian brothers attempting to ban azan is to deny the existence of Islam and Muslims in Jerusalem. To prohibit the azan, is to deny the existence of Muslims and Islam in Jerusalem throughout the history which is not possible to accept it. "(ILKHA)
