Speaking at the National Agriculture Project meeting at the Congress and Culture Center in Presidential Complex, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan gave a message that negotiations with the European Union could be stopped.

Mentioned to the death debate, Erdogan said, "We are currently in the process of negotiations between the ruling party and the MHP. When Parliament receives this decision, I will approve this decision when it comes to me. After that, it will go to the nation as referendum. You are the main approving authority. What does the West say 'no hanging’. Where do you talk about this? O West, the destiny of this nation is in your hand. Today, this is happen in the majority of the world. Who are you? How long have you been able to make decisions on behalf of Turkiye, when? How you decide about Turkiye. You have not known Turkiye, the whirligig you are turning are not on behalf of Turkiye. This nation make their own decisions and take matters into their own hands."

Erdogan, mentioned about some European Union officials who are making statement about stopping negotiations with Turkiye, and said, "They say to Turkiye ‘Negotiations with the European Union can be stopped.’ They say ’we can stop the negotiations’. You are late, make your decision right away. Here are the Prime Minister here, the ministers are here. I say that as President we will wait till the end of the year, then go to the nation." (ILKHA)
