Villages, known as Rohingya, are under fire of air and land attacks by the military forces of the Myanmar Government in recent days. Yesterday, it was stated that 28 Muslims were martyred in the attack on Maungdaw in the north of Arakan carried out by battle helicopters.

The Arakanese Muslims, who are not systematically banished by the Myanmar Government from their villages, are described as the most persecuted community in the world by the United Nations. Arakan Information Directorate stated that more than 3 thousand Arakanese Muslims had to leave their homes.

On the other hand, satellite images from October 22nd to November 10th, published by Human Rights Watch (HRW), show that 430 homes have been burned.
