Swiss politician reacts 'burqa ban'
Swiss politician Richard Hubler has reacted 'burqa ban' which adopted with national council vote.
Richard Hubler, from Liberal Party (FDP) in Switzerland reacted to the impose burqa ban in nationwide which adopted by the vote of national council of Switzerland, remarked that he found ‘burqa ban’ as irrelevance, said that another rule has added to other exists foolish rules in Switzerland.
Richard Hubler is a candidate from FDP for parliamentary election which will be held in Basel on 23 October, in the context of election campaign he has visited Said-i Nursi Foundation.
Hubler had a short speech in the Foundation’s local, mentioned about the burqa ban which is on the agenda on Switzerland, said that only 28 women are wearing burqa in the nationwide. Hubler said that he can’t understand why the Switzerland National Council bother with burqa which worn by 28 women, underlined that there are many foolish rules in Switzerland and those rules are making the life harder instead of making it easier.
Hüseyin Akın, coordinator of Mitenand Initiative support the Hubler’s election campaign, emphasized the importance of recognition of migrants as community who live in Basel “On the head of recognition migrants, Islam need to be recognize firstly. Not as Ahmet or Mehmet, we need to be recognize as publicly. We have 9 thousand vote in Basel, 9 thousand vote means equivalent to 20 percent of Basel’s total votes.”
Richard Hubler said that it is his first time of visitation to a foundation which contain a mosque, express his appreciation and promised to fight against wrong generated perception about mosques. (ILKHA)
