It was seen vehicles parked on the runway to prevent flight of fighter air craft in case of a coup attempt at the 8th main jet base in Diyarbakır.

After the coup attempt, from 8th main jet base command, 10 F16s took off and 6 of them were used in bombing Ankara.

After the emergence of the issue, firstly military flight banned, and then electricity and water supply cut off from the base.
