Because of the 15th anniversary of AK Parti, a celebrating program was held in front of AK Parti headquarters. President Erdogan participated to the program via teleconference system from Istanbul. Also Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, 11th President Abdullah Gül, former Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu made a speech in the program.

Started with, “Greeting with the feeling of my heart, longing, affection to my precious friends whom I walked with under the roof of AK Parti which identified with fate of country and fate of people since its inception day.” in his speech President Erdogan stated that he had to break his connection with AK Parti on the 27th August 2014.  

 “I had the sadness of leaving my party after 13 years”

President Erdogan, “That day, after 13 years I had the sadness of leaving my party, and had the joy of embracing with all of my people. Even I left the party, my combat friendship, my bond of communication with common cause friends that we build the party together, and we walked together so far is never finished and will not finish. Remember, 26 March 1999 when we were on the way to Pinarhisar Prison ‘we walked together along the road, we soaked together under the pouring rain, now I listen the all songs in, to me everything reminds me of you.’ We have done a lot on this way that we walked and got wet together. After the release from the prison we run to our nation without losing any time. Then on the 3th November 2002 elections, our nation has given us the responsibility of managing the country. Assuming the post of Prime Minister, we worked day and night to fulfill our promises to our people even with the delay of a few months on the 9 March 2003. We overcome all obstacles that came in front of us from inside and outside; we equipped the country in all areas with works, investments, services that more than those are made in the entire history of the republic. The more we served to our nation; our nation has turned to us. We increased our vote in every election, after each election time we fold up our services. Presidential election also passed quite painful. They didn’t leave any 367 freak game they played just to not make us win our presidential election. Node solved by our nation.” has said.

 “It is our duty to eradicate FETO”

Referring to Gezi and 17-25 December events President Erdogan continued as, “We faced with the most insidious, bloodiest, lowest threat on the 15 July 2016 night in the history of our country. Unfortunately that night these terrorist, an infiltrated group of soldiers belonging to the Turkish Armed Forces within FETO lunched a coup attempt against his own nation and own country. They used all kind of weapons against nation that bought with the possibility of nation and the state entrusted those tanks, helicopters, planes they used to their honor. This betrayed initiative also have defeated by giving shoulders to shoulders with our nation.”

Erdogan, “It is our duty to bring them to account and eradicate FETO those who betrayed to our nation. On this occasion I wish Allah have mercy to our Martyrs, my condolences to their families, and wish healing for our ghazis.” he said.

AK Parti chairman and Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım also said, “We put the head on the path of nation against those betrayal gangs, terrorist organizations, who scupper on the path of nation. With the help of Allah, no one can turn us back from this path. We are stronger then yesterday. We are here in front of you as a party we left behind many more crises, traps, disloyalties, tutorships. We are successfully repelled many attempt from Gezi attempt to the 17-25 coup attempt and from 6-8 October wildness events to the ditch politic. Finally on 15th July it is the management of AK Parti that brought coup to their knees and eliminated the low coup attempt with the nation against the world’s evilest, lowest coup attempt.” (İLKHA)
