Besides others, also one of the victims of the police members of PDY/FETO was Faruk Afsin, who was kidnapped from around his house 17 years ago. Was tortured in various ways and afterwards arrested and sentenced with lifetime imprisonment due to a statement report that the signature is not belong to him, has 9 children and 13 grandchildren, Faruk Afsin’s family members have spoken about their victimizations to ILKHA.

"I want my husband to be released soon"

Faruk Afsin’s wife Ms. Kadriye says: “They kidnapped my husband in 1999. We couldn’t hear from him about 4 months. After 4 months when we found my husband he told us about all the persecutions done to him. He told us that he was constantly tortured for 3 months, they left him in snow for days, he was thrown down from the cliff and they immersed nail into his feet. The members of Parallel structure tortured my husband too much. I want him to be released. He is in prison since 17 years for no reason. My husband has committed none of the crimes in the file that attributed to him. The police members of The Parallel Structure (FETO) have prepared a file and they signed the statement instead of him. That also became clear within the report of the forensic medicine. Despite they signed the statement report of my husband and the statement report doesn’t belong to him, he is in prison since 17 years for no reason. If the file obligated, one can see all the persecutions that committed towards him. We want my husband to be released immediately.”

“I was 6 years old when my husband was kidnapped”

Indicating that his father was tortured in various ways, Faruk Afsin’s son Mehmet Sah Afsin, says: “My father was kidnapped by cops of The Parallel structure when I was 6 years old in 1999. As my father was kidnapped by cops illegally, they tortured him for 3 months like electronical torments, immersing nail into feet, rats to eat his body and he was tortured in the Palestinian hang style. And after that they leave him to death on snow for 3 days. After they realized that he didn’t die, another police group arrests him legally and torture him legally and imprison him on 20th January 2000 due to the statement report that they signed by themselves. “

“Despite the signature under the statement report is not belong to my father, he is in prison for 17 years”

Indicating his father that imprisoned for 17 years due to the signature not belong to him, Afsin says: “My father is innocent and in prison for no reason. Despite that it was proven by the forensic medicine that the signature under the statement report is not belong to him, my father is in prison for no reason. Both my father and we were victimized due to the imprisonment without a real reason. We want our victimization to be eliminated and my father to be released from the prison.”

Survived for 6 years as paralyzed during 17 years of imprisonment, due to the severe tortures before imprisonment by Parallel polices of FETO, Faruk Afsin is expecting his victimizations to be eliminated and proper administration of justice. (ILKHA)
