"In prison for 17 years after a plot of FETÖ"

Sait Aslan, one of the children of Aslan, said: “my father was arrested and tortured for days by police who was working for FETÖ and he was sentenced upon fabricated statements and he has been in prison for 17 years.”

Calling on government and authorities, Aslan said:” those who punished my father now are being tried for plotting coup. These men put my father into prison. I want this persecution come to an end. I cannot have my father with me for 17 years. I call on AK party government, Prime Minister and President. We don’t plead a release or amnesty moreover we want a rehearing for all those who were sentenced by FETÖ members.”

Indicating that he was longing for his father for years, Selman Aslan said his father has been in prison since he was a 1st grade student. Selman Aslan said: “my father was imprisoned after a plot set by FETÖ member judges and prosecutors. He has been kept behind locked doors for 17 years. We have been having our days without him for nothing indeed.

Living apart from her husband for 17 years, Hatice Aslan told us what she has been through for years that: “my husband was teaching Quran to children for the sake of Allah. My little son was 5 months old when his father was arrested. Now he is 17 years old. I try to raise my children without father.”

Living out her life on the way of prisons, Hatice Aslan said: “they neither release him nor open a door. But we strongly believe that this is for Allah’s cause. And we will never give up this cause.” (ILKHA)
