Details of the conflict emerged in Ergani district of Diyarbakır PKK killed 3 police during a raid on the house of cell.

According to the information obtained, security forces raided on the house of PKK member Menderes Yıldız located in Fevzi Çakmak district Menekşe Street.

Menderes is not at home said Menderes Yıldız’s brother Cihat Yıldız who opened the door. Meanwhile, the conflict began when fire opened by PKK members from upper floor to security forces.

Police officers Engin Yılmaz and Salih Aksu lost their lives in the clash. Seriously wounded Ahmet Can lost his live in Ergani State Hospital. Two police are slightly wounded in the clash.

Citizens were asked to evacuate their homes in the neighboring houses after the arrival of reinforcement from Diyarbakır.

Around 2:00am it was when the conflict began and continued till early morning hours. Menderes Yıldız was killed and a PKK member whose name not learned yet was injured in the clash. Also Cihat Yıldız arrested alive in the clash.

Old Diyarbakır and Dicle Ucyol roads were closed for hours due to the conflict.

Significant damage was seen occurred in the house during the conflict and handmade explosives were detonated in a controlled way.
