Families of martyrs, who were massacred by HDP/PKK militants on the conflicts started after HDP Chairman Selahattin Demirtas' call in pretext of supporting Kobane, are sad during Eid Al-Fitr.

Experiencing the 3rd Eid without their children, the families have spoken to ILKHA. Families repeated their demand that Selahattin Demirtas was in situation as an instigator of 6-7 October conflicts. Therefore he must be accounted for his crime.

Indicated that it is hard to spend another Eid without his son, Hasan Gokgoz’s father Mehmet Gokgoz said: “I am happy because my son is a martyr. I am also ready to be martyr on this path. I wish I had 10 sons and they were martyred on Islam. Martyrdom is a nice level. I became more precious after my son was martyred, May Allah mercy those who stand with us and support us.”

 “My grandchildren are looking for their father”

Indicating that his grandchildren to remain orphan is makes him sad, Gokgoz continued as: “The other day when I turned from Adana my youngest grandchild came to me and said: ‘I miss my father a lot’. My grandchildren’s eyes look for their father. That is very emotional to see.”

And martyr Huseyin Dakak’s father Oztekin Dakak expressed that he wanted Selahattin Demirtas, who was in situation of instigator of 6 to 7 October conflicts to be judged.

“Demirtas is in situation of instigator and I want him to be judged”

Dakak says: “Even if years pass we won’t forget our son. I wish Allah mercy the Muslims who came here to visit us. They didn’t forget the martyrdom of my son. I wish Allah will get revenge of my son from them and I wish also them to be so sad. We are not regret of martyrdom of my son, I wish Allah accepts his martyrdom. Our only problem is not with courts. As you know immunity of PM’s were lifted. As families of victims we have complained about Selahattin Demirtas who is instigator of the conflicts. I want Selahattin Demirtas who caused the tension and caused my son to be martyred, to be judged in the court as instigator.”

Father of martyr Yasin Boru, Fikri Boru indicated that they experience the Eid Al- Fitr very sad, because he is too emotional he couldn’t speak. (ILKHA)
