A car bomb attack targeting a police bus belong to Riot Police on Şehzadepaşa street in Vezneciler neighbourhood of Istanbul killed 11 people, 7 of whom were police and wounded 36 others, 3 of whom in critical condition.

Releasing a written statement HUDA PAR Istanbul Provincial Head Office, it is marked in the statement that this attack which was carried out during Holy Ramadan, that must be respected, is an inhuman assault.

Wishing mercy from God to those who lost their lives and a swift recovery for wounded people, it is said: “It is obvious that within this conflict period, engaging warfare in urban areas especially in eastern cities and again this kind of car bomb attacks take place in metropolises victimize the innocent civilians most.”

Underlining the real aim of the insistence on this kind of attacks which imperil the safety of people’s life and property, it is said in the statement that these attacks aims to fuel the chaos and turmoil in the society.

Adding that: “bomb attacks take place in residential areas during holy Ramadan, in which people wish for performing their worship in peace and believe to stop every kind of conflicts, are kind of attacks condemned strongly by Islam. To prevent this kind of heinous attacks and maintain the safety of people’s life and property is under government’s responsibility. To prevent any other attack and remove the security weakness, the perpetrators must be found immediately. “

Indicating that killing a person unjustly equals to kill all humanity and as HUDA PAR bases on this principle, it is said again in the statement that; “we hereby, condemn all those who carried out this attack and those who behind this attack. We extend our condolences to victims’ families and recovery for those who wounded in this attack.” (ILKHA)
