Talking to ILKHA over the brutal murder of 12 year old Syrian kid Ferhat Ali Seyrek whose throat was cut, Gaziantep HUDAPAR Provincial Head M. Nakşi Erat spoke over the Syrian children’s grievances.

Indicated that the biggest victim of the civil war is children, Erat said that most of the children of refugees cannot go to schools and have education.

Saying that millions of people whose life were ruined by civil war, are experiencing great sufferings and their children are the most affected ones, Erat said most of these children discontinue their education and work so as to help their families financially.

Erat said: “At first I wish mercy from God to Ferhat Ali Seyrek and patience to his sorrow family. Syrian Ferhat was just a 12 years old boy. Ferhat who was working to help his family financially was slaughtered brutally. Ferhat’s case has reminded us the plight of children who have to live out of the camps.”

“Syrain children must be earned to education”

Remaking that according to official authorities 350 thousand and to the unofficial authorities over 400 thousand of refugees reside in the city, Erat said over 60 thousand of children are supposed to have education, they are deprived of education.

Erat added that; “Not to earn this children to the education incur them different type of dangers in the city. According to some rumors we heard, these children are trying to be Christianized. Besides, these children are made to work in very tough conditions by some ill-intentioned people. The number of child labors is increasing very swiftly with each passing day. Urgent measures must be taken to prevent this going. The most important thing is now to earn these children to education.” (ILKHA)
