'There are serious gaps in Yasin Boru's court case'
Lawyer Mehmet Karadag has made striking claims about the court case in which assailants of martrys are being judged during 6-8 October assaults.
Claims come from Lawyer Mehmet Karadag indicating court case of murderers of Yasin Boru and his friends has both security gaps and lack of investigations.
“There are security loopes in Yasin Boru’s court case”
Lawyer Karadag spoke to Ilke News Agency (ILKHA) reminding the barbarically slain of Yasin Boru and his friends during 6-8 October so called support to Kobani Protests.
Lawyer Karadag said that the indictment was prepared only about Yasin Boru and his friends however lawyers for suspects made objections and demanded discharge of their clients by putting the justifications forward of one of the suspects was at his military service, another one was in the prison and the other one was in the hospital during the protests. Unfortunately the demands for discharge was granted by court. Weirdly these justifications hadn’t been mentioned during four months court case. “What happened to them they rememebered these excuses suddenly ?” Asks lawyer Karadag. “If they had been some where else why wouldn’t you have brought these arguments up to now?”
“Criminals who have hands in the incidents are strolling on the streets freely”
Emphasising the governorship’s explanation of 2 PKK members who are supposed to be in the jail are strolling on the streets freely. Karadag said that "this was a clear evidence that police hasn’t done its duty properly."
“Release of one of the suspects of Yasin Boru court case due to he was in the prison during the events on official files remains question marks on our mind.” says Mehmet Karadag adding “Families of the martries have great doubts about ongoing court case and they ask for a detailed investigation for ones released by court. When we join all what happened nowadays shows us that there is a serious security gap in the region where innocent people can be murdered and the ones who have hands in the incidents live freely. This is a great flaw of the state that cannot provide security.”
“News about Yasin Boru’s court case moved to Izmir is a distortion of perception by HDP”
Karadag remarked that the claim of moving Yasin Boru’s court case to Izmir because of security reasons is completely groundless as we talked to the chief judge he told us we haven’t been receieved such an order and the news alleged that court case was sent to Izmir is untrue.
Karadag underlined the fact that these claims took place in media about displacement of the court case is another subject of investigation “However the media is directed by some groups affiliated to HDP ( peoples democratic party) aims to distrort of perception over the court case. There should be some sensible reaons to change the court case place but we haven’t got an official notification so far about a displacement. And if these rumors come true , to move the court to a far city, would be a second torment to the mourners.” (ILKHA)
