The event took place in the presence of UNRWA's Director of External Relations and Communications, Tamara Al-Rifai, where Ambassador Al-Marri reiterated Kuwait's unwavering commitment to the agency's mission.

"Kuwait remains committed to fulfilling its obligations to UNRWA, recognizing the agency's crucial role despite its challenges," Al-Marri declared, emphasizing his country’s dedication to the Palestinian cause and the welfare of Palestinian refugees.

Al-Rifai acknowledged Kuwait's support, stating that the donation would significantly aid UNRWA in continuing its vital services across occupied territories, Jordan, and other host countries. She pointed out the importance of UNRWA's infrastructure, which includes hundreds of schools and numerous health centers dedicated to serving the refugee population.
