Türkiye freezes assets of 44 individuals and organizations linked to terrorism
The Turkish Ministry of Treasury and Finance has frozen the assets of 44 individuals and organizations linked to terrorism, including the PKK/KCK, ISIS/Al-Qaeda, and FETÖ/PDY.
The decision, published in the Official Gazette, was taken under the provisions of the "Law on the Prevention of Financing of Terrorism."
Among those affected are 7 real persons and 5 legal entities with ties to the PKK/KCK, 22 real persons linked to ISIS and Al-Qaeda, and one real person and 9 legal entities associated with the FETÖ/PDY.
The names of all individuals and entities subject to asset freezes were published in the Official Gazette.
This move by the Turkish government aims to disrupt the financial networks of terrorist organizations and hinder their activities. (ILKHA)
