Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a home belonging to the Barakat family near Sheikh Radwan Lake in northern Gaza City, resulting in the deaths of four people and leaving others injured.

In another attack, an Israeli drone struck a residential apartment in the Al-Zaybaq building near the Great Omari Mosque in Gaza’s Old City. The strike killed a woman and a child, injured several others—many of them children and elderly—and left a number of residents unaccounted for under the rubble.

Further north, one person was killed in an airstrike on Jabalia camp, while twin siblings lost their lives in additional strikes in the area.

In central Gaza, Dr. Thabat Salim, a volunteer at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, was killed when Israeli airstrikes targeted a house in Al-Nuseirat camp.

Meanwhile, two farmers were killed in the Musbah area of southern Gaza’s Rafah Governorate when Israeli forces bombed their agricultural field as they slept. Two others lost their lives in a strike northeast of Rafah.

Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7, 2023, the death toll has risen to 45,805, with the majority of victims being women and children. Over 109,064 others have been wounded.

Thousands remain trapped beneath the rubble or scattered in streets, as rescue efforts are hampered by ongoing airstrikes, extensive destruction, and severe shortages of fuel and heavy equipment needed to clear debris.

Ambulance and civil defense teams are struggling to reach affected areas, raising fears that the death toll will continue to climb in the coming days. (ILKHA)
