In central Gaza, an airstrike targeted a home in the town of Al-Zawaida, killing three people, including journalist Omar Al-Deirawi. The home belonged to the Shalt family.

Further casualties were reported when an airstrike struck a home and a tent of the Salman family west of Deir Al-Balah, claiming four lives and wounding several others.

In Gaza City, an attack near Abdul Aal Junction on Al-Jalaa Street west of the city resulted in one fatality. Similarly, another strike in the Abu Al-Ajeen area east of Deir Al-Balah led to one more death.

Overnight, the violence escalated with 16 people, including children, killed in airstrikes on residential homes in central Gaza. A strike on the Mashmash family's residence in Bidas Tower killed five, including two children, with several others injured. In the Al-Sawarha area, an attack on the Sheikh family's house also killed five.

Tragically, nine individuals perished in an airstrike on a home belonging to the Abu Lebda family in the Al-Maghazi refugee camp.

Since the onset of hostilities in October 2023, the ongoing Israeli military operations have led to at least 45,581 Palestinian deaths and over 108,438 injuries. Many victims are believed to be trapped under debris, out of reach for rescue due to continuous attacks.

Despite international calls for peace, including an immediate ceasefire demanded by the UN Security Council and preventive measures against genocide suggested by the International Court of Justice, Israel's military actions in Gaza persist. (ILKHA)
