The incident occurred around 8:40 a.m. local time near the hotel's entrance. The driver, who was inside the vehicle at the time, was killed, and seven bystanders sustained minor injuries.

Investigators discovered that the Cybertruck was loaded with large firework mortars, gas tanks, and camping fuel canisters. Authorities are treating the explosion as a potential act of terrorism.

The vehicle was rented in Colorado via the Turo app. Law enforcement agencies are working to confirm the identity of the deceased driver and are exploring possible connections to a separate incident in New Orleans' French Quarter, where a truck attack resulted in multiple fatalities.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated that the explosion was caused by "very large fireworks and/or a bomb" and was unrelated to the vehicle's design or function.

The Trump International Hotel Las Vegas, located just off the famed Strip, was evacuated following the explosion. Emergency services responded swiftly, and the scene was secured. The investigation is ongoing, with federal and local authorities collaborating to determine the motive behind the incident. (ILKHA)
