The team, consisting of an orthopedic surgeon, a general surgeon, and a pediatric surgeon, arrived in Gaza to address the urgent medical needs of the population.

Dr. Ömer Faruk Aydoğan, a General Surgery Specialist with the team, reported from Khan Yunus on the dire situation. "The situation in Gaza is critical," he stated. "There is widespread hunger, with limited access to food. Tent cities have been set up, but there's no fuel, no electricity, and no internet. A people is being systematically starved."

The medical team has not only begun treating patients but also documenting the aftermath of the destruction. They have captured images of devastated areas, the bodies of martyrs, and the grief of their families, highlighting the human cost of the Israeli genocidal war.

Dr. Aydoğan made an urgent appeal to Islamic countries, particularly Turkey, to increase their support for Gaza. "Children are walking barefoot, women are in dire straits," he emphasized, calling for immediate humanitarian aid.

The Orphans Foundation had previously announced the deployment of these doctors to assist thousands in Gaza awaiting surgery and treatment. They have also urged philanthropists to contribute to the relief efforts.

This mission underscores the critical need for medical and humanitarian intervention in Gaza, where the population continues to suffer from the effects of prolonged conflict and blockade. (ILKHA)
