At least 13 civilians killed, others injured in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza
Israeli airstrikes on various areas in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday claimed the lives of at least 13 civilians and injured several others, according to local reports.
In the Ma’an area east of Khan Yunis Governorate, Israeli aircraft bombed a house, killing 10 citizens and injuring several others. Additionally, a man and his wife lost their lives in an airstrike targeting a residential apartment near the Ain Jalut Towers, south of the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza. In Deir Al-Balah, also in central Gaza, a young man named Ahmed Al-Munirawi was killed when his family’s home was bombed.
The ongoing Israeli aggression, which has continued by land, sea, and air since October 7, 2023, has resulted in widespread devastation. According to health and human rights organizations, the death toll has reached 45,338, with the majority of victims being women and children. Over 107,764 others have been injured, leaving Gaza’s already strained healthcare system overwhelmed.
The escalating violence has drawn widespread international condemnation and calls for an immediate cessation of hostilities to prevent further civilian casualties and destruction. (ILKHA)
