Al-Qassam Brigades eliminate five Israeli soldiers in Jabalia
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced a successful operation in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, where its fighters eliminated five Israeli occupation soldiers.
In a statement issued Saturday, the Al-Qassam Brigades detailed the operation, explaining that their fighters ambushed and fatally stabbed three Israeli soldiers, seizing their weapons. Following the ambush, the fighters advanced to a nearby house where Israeli forces had taken cover. At the entrance, they eliminated two additional soldiers and engaged the remaining forces in intense combat.
This operation marks the second such engagement by Al-Qassam fighters in Jabalia within days. Last Thursday, another fighter carried out a close-quarters attack, killing an Israeli officer and three soldiers while seizing their weapons.
The Al-Qassam Brigades emphasized their commitment to resistance and defending Palestinian civilians against ongoing Israeli military aggression in Gaza.
These operations occur against the backdrop of heightened tensions in the region, as Gaza continues to face relentless bombardment and escalating military activity by Israeli forces. (ILKHA)
