Erdoğan meets Qatar’s Emir Al Thani in Ankara
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar on his visit to Türkiye at the Presidential Complex in Ankara.
The two leaders discussed bilateral relations between Türkiye and Qatar, alongside key regional and global issues.
During the meeting, Erdoğan reaffirmed Türkiye’s support for the Syrian people and government, emphasizing the importance of protecting Syria’s territorial integrity, unity, and unitary structure. He called for greater international cooperation in advancing Syria’s reconstruction efforts.
Erdoğan also highlighted Türkiye’s ongoing fight against all terrorist organizations, underscoring its efforts to safeguard national security and address instability in Syria. He stressed that Türkiye’s commitment to ending instability in the region would continue.
The discussions further strengthened Türkiye-Qatar ties while addressing broader regional challenges, reflecting the two nations’ commitment to regional stability and mutual cooperation. (ILKHA)
