Magnitude-4.4 earthquake strikes off Türkiye's northwestern coast
A magnitude 4.4 earthquake struck off the coast of Eceabat in Türkiye's northwestern Çanakkale province, the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) announced on its website.
The earthquake occurred at approximately 14:34 Turkish Standard Time (TSI) on Thursday. According to AFAD, the epicenter was located at a latitude of 40.41778°N and a longitude of 26.23861°E, with a depth of 25.5 kilometers.
