Turkish authorities detain 21 FETO-linked suspects over exam fraud
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced the detention of 21 individuals on Tuesday as part of an investigation into allegations of exam fraud linked to the 2012 deputy tax inspector exam.
According to authorities, the suspects are accused of accessing the exam questions prior to the written test and distributing them to members of the FETÖ/PDY organisation. Following the issuance of detention warrants, simultaneous operations were carried out across seven provinces, with Ankara as the central hub.
The coordinated operation successfully apprehended all 21 suspects. Investigators are now working to uncover the full extent of the alleged cheating scheme and its connections to the organisation.
The incident underscores continued efforts by Turkish authorities to combat FETÖ/PDY-linked activities and maintain the integrity of state examinations. (ILKHA)
