The strikes come as part of ongoing Israeli genocidal aggression in the Gaza Strip, which have left over 44,758 Palestinians dead and more than 106,134 injured since October 7, 2023.

Rescue crews have been unable to reach the site in Izbat Beit Hanoun due to the surrounding siege imposed by Israeli forces. The strikes also extended to the refugee camps of al-Maghazi and Nuseirat in central Gaza, with homes destroyed in northern Nuseirat.

Medical sources reported the deaths of six civilians and several injuries following Israeli shelling in Beit Lahia, also in northern Gaza. Meanwhile, a civilian was reportedly killed by an Israeli drone in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza, and two children lost their lives in shelling at al-Maghazi camp.

Israeli warplanes bombed a school in the Jabalia refugee camp, which was sheltering displaced people, resulting in multiple civilian casualties. Additionally, a residential block near Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza was struck, leading to further deaths and injuries.

The humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate, with thousands of victims still missing beneath the rubble or scattered across roads. Rescue operations are hindered by ongoing attacks, lack of fuel, destroyed infrastructure, and frequent disruptions to communication networks.

Incomplete casualty data reflects the severe challenges in documenting the full extent of losses amid relentless bombardments by Israeli forces.

As the violence escalates, international organizations and humanitarian groups have urged for an immediate ceasefire and unrestricted access for aid and rescue efforts. The blockade on Gaza, compounded by continuous air, land, and sea operations, has left the region's infrastructure in ruins, exacerbating the suffering of its civilian population.
