Emiroğlu underscored the historical significance of the Baath regime's collapse and outlined key priorities for Syria's transition to peace and stability.

Emphasizing the need for a bloodless transition, Emiroğlu stated that the future of Syria should be determined solely by the Syrian people, without external interference. “Syria belongs to Syrians with all its elements and differences,” he said, calling for the establishment of peace, security, and a culture of coexistence in the country.

The 61-year rule of the Baath regime, marked by "massacres, oppression, torture, and displacement," represented a dark chapter in Syria’s history, Emiroğlu noted. He stressed the importance of a transitional government that ensures fair representation for all parties to stabilize the nation.

HÜDA PAR outlined its expectations for the transitional government, emphasizing the need to respect Syria's territorial integrity, including the Golan Heights. Emiroğlu urged international actors to support Syria's sovereignty and the will of its people, advocating responsible diplomacy as a path to regional stability.

Among the party’s recommendations were:

-Establishing peace and tranquility across Syria.

-Forming a constitutional commission with fair representation of all communities to draft a new constitution within a reasonable timeframe.

-Prioritizing the creation of a constitution aligned with Islamic principles, reflecting the majority faith of the Syrian society.

-Facilitating the safe return of Syrian refugees displaced by the 13-year civil war.

-Preventing demographic changes and ensuring all communities can live peacefully in their ancestral lands.

-Promoting unity and solidarity while preventing societal divisions.

Emiroğlu expressed hope that Syria’s transformation could strengthen regional solidarity, particularly in support of Palestine. He warned against U.S. interference aimed at advancing Israeli interests, stating: “We hope that the new order in Syria will further strengthen the Palestinian struggle against Israel and pave the way to the freedom of Jerusalem.”

The statement concluded with a call for peace, coexistence, and a united effort to rebuild Syria. HÜDA PAR reiterated its belief that a responsible and inclusive transition could benefit not only Syria but also the broader Middle East.

This comprehensive vision from HÜDA PAR highlights the party’s focus on justice, unity, and the preservation of Syria’s sovereignty as the country embarks on a critical chapter of its history. (ILKHA)
