Dedicated to supporting orphans both in Türkiye and abroad, the foundation relies on the generosity of philanthropists to meet the growing needs of orphaned children, especially during the winter months. This year, 55 children—including those who lost their fathers in the recent earthquake—were invited to a local store with their families to receive new coats and boots to help them stay warm through the cold season.

Harun Şahin, the Representative of the Orphans Foundation in Malatya, shared details of the heartwarming initiative:

"As part of our ‘One Coat, One Boot’ project, we were able to provide winter clothing to 55 orphaned children today. Among them were children who tragically lost their fathers in the recent earthquake. This is part of our ongoing commitment to support families in need each year.”

The foundation currently supports 60 orphan families in Malatya, with around 130 children in total. Şahin emphasized the importance of these charitable contributions, stating:

“Thanks to the incredible support of our philanthropists, we’re able to bring joy to these children and provide them with much-needed essentials. Their prayers of gratitude are the greatest reward we could ask for.”

Şahin also highlighted the vital role the foundation plays in connecting orphan families with compassionate donors:

"We serve as a bridge between philanthropists and orphan families, ensuring that donations reach the people who need them most. By carefully assessing the needs of each family, we make sure that every contribution has the greatest possible impact."

The Orphans Foundation is calling on more philanthropists to join their mission and extend their support.
