Afghan ambassador participates in 22nd Doha Forum
Dr. Mohammad Naeem, the Acting Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to Qatar, attended the 22nd Doha Forum, themed “The Innovation Imperative,” held by Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Afghanistan Embassy in Doha highlighted the attendance of key figures, including Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar; Qatar’s Prime Minister; U.S. First Lady Jill Biden; the Presidents of Kazakhstan and Egypt; and Foreign Ministers from countries such as India, Norway, Iran, and Saudi Arabia. The forum also hosted ambassadors, international organization representatives, scholars, and civil society leaders from around the world.
Discussions at the forum focused on pressing global and regional challenges, including crises in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and Ukraine. Participants emphasized the importance of collaborative solutions and strategic initiatives to address these issues effectively.
