Russia closes Polish consulate in retaliation
Russia has announced the closure of Poland's consulate general in St. Petersburg in response to Poland's decision to shut down the Russian consulate in Poznan.
The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that the move was a necessary countermeasure against Poland's hostile actions.
Additionally, three Polish diplomats have been declared persona non grata and ordered to leave Russia.
The escalating diplomatic tensions between the two countries reflect the broader geopolitical context, with both nations taking steps to protect their national interests. (ILKHA)
