Turkish National Security Council to convene amidst Syria tensions
Türkiye's National Security Council (MGK) is set to convene today, December 3rd, under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The primary focus of the meeting will be the latest developments in the Syrian conflict and its implications for Türkiye's national security.
The council will discuss the ongoing military operations against the PKK/YPG in Syria and northern Iraq. Additionally, the much-anticipated purchase of 40 F-16 Block 70 fighter jets from the US, along with the delivery of 6 F-35 aircraft, will be on the agenda.
