Afghanistan and China strengthen ties with humanitarian aid delivery

According to a statement from the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation, the aid package, valued at 100 million yuan, is intended to address the urgent needs of Afghan refugees, particularly as winter intensifies.

Minister Haqqani expressed gratitude for China’s continued support, emphasizing the critical situation faced by refugees during the colder months. He called for expedited delivery to ensure timely assistance for those in need.

Ambassador Zhao Xing assured that the technical preparations for the second batch of aid have been finalized. He confirmed that the transfer process will begin by the end of this month following the completion of administrative procedures.

Both officials highlighted the importance of strengthened coordination and collaboration to tackle the growing challenges faced by refugees.
