Missile launch from Yemen triggers sirens in southern and central occupied Palestine
Sirens were heard on Sunday morning across large areas of southern and central occupied Palestine, including Yaffa, following a missile launch from Yemen, according to Israeli media reports.
Four Israelis sustained minor injuries during a stampede as they rushed towards shelters after the sirens were activated in response to the missile launch.
In a statement, the occupation military confirmed that the sirens were triggered in several central areas of occupied Palestine due to a ballistic missile launch from Yemen.
The warning sirens were reported in wide areas of Yaffa, “Tel Aviv,” and the south, with explosions also heard in various parts of the West Bank during attempts to intercept the missile, according to Israeli media outlets.
The reports claimed that the missile, launched from Yemen, landed near Jerusalem in the “Latrun” area.
As of now, there has been no comment from the Yemeni armed forces regarding this incident. (ILKHA)
