Jordan Armed Forces deliver 6.6 tons of aid to northern Gaza
The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army announced on Tuesday that it air-dropped 6.6 tons of essential food supplies to the northern Gaza Strip using two Royal Jordanian Air Force planes.
The operation is part of Jordan's ongoing humanitarian efforts to assist Gaza’s population amidst the ongoing crisis. According to the state-run Petra news agency, the Jordanian army reiterated its commitment to delivering humanitarian and medical aid through various means, including airdrops, humanitarian air bridges, and land convoys.
Since the beginning of the Israeli military aggression in Gaza, the Jordanian Armed Forces have conducted 124 airdrops. In collaboration with other nations, an additional 266 airdrops have been carried out to alleviate the dire humanitarian conditions faced by the people of Gaza.
Jordan’s continued efforts underscore its dedication to supporting those in need, with the army pledging to maintain the flow of aid as the crisis unfolds. (ILKHA)
