These deliberations, which also include the 2023 Central Government Final Account Law Proposal, will run for 12 uninterrupted days, including weekends.

The proposals are currently under review by the TBMM Plan and Budget Commission, with finalization expected this Friday. Once approved, the budget debates will move to the General Assembly, where lawmakers will engage in comprehensive discussions about Türkiye’s fiscal priorities.

During this period, political parties will forgo their group meetings to prioritize the budget debates. Additionally, visitors will not be permitted inside Parliament from December 9 to 20 to ensure the sessions proceed without disruption.

The Central Government Budget Law for 2025 will outline Türkiye’s fiscal strategies and allocations for the coming year, addressing critical sectors such as healthcare, education, defense, and infrastructure. Meanwhile, the 2023 Final Account Law Proposal will provide an evaluation of past expenditures, ensuring accountability and transparency in public spending.

These debates are pivotal in shaping Türkiye's financial strategies for 2025 and beyond, making the process one of the most significant legislative events of the year. (ILKHA)
