Erdoğan stated that Türkiye has provided nearly 86,000 tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza, making it the top provider globally. "We renounced a trade volume of nearly $9.5 billion by halting all trade with Israel," he added.

Türkiye has applied to intervene in the genocide case filed against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). Erdoğan affirmed ongoing efforts to push international organizations, including the United Nations, to take action to end the conflict.

Erdoğan underscored Türkiye’s commitment to standing by Palestinians until "the genocide stops and Gaza and Palestine are fully liberated." He highlighted Türkiye’s advocacy efforts at international meetings, including the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League summit in Riyadh.

The Turkish president commended the International Criminal Court's (ICC) arrest warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Calling it a "brave step," Erdoğan urged Rome Statute signatories to enforce the warrant, describing its execution as a test of global integrity.

Erdoğan detailed Türkiye’s diplomatic engagements, including talks with heads of state at the G20 Summit in Brazil and meetings with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim, where he raised the plight of Gaza and Lebanon. He also highlighted Türkiye’s efforts to address the climate crisis, referencing the "zero waste movement" spearheaded by First Lady Emine Erdoğan.

Expressing confidence in the eventual triumph of the Palestinian cause, Erdoğan said: "The oppressors will lose, and the Palestinian people will attain prosperity and peace. Justice will prevail against those responsible for this genocide."

Türkiye’s leadership on the global stage, particularly its humanitarian and diplomatic initiatives, remains central to its response to the ongoing crisis in Gaza and the broader Middle East. (ILKHA)
