Al-Houthi asserted that Yemen has directly confronted American naval power, targeting aircraft carriers and forcing a retreat. Referring to specific incidents, he claimed that the USS Eisenhower was compelled to withdraw after being targeted in the Red Sea and described the USS Abraham Lincoln retreating from the Arabian Sea under similar circumstances.

“The Abraham Lincoln has fled back to its origins, unwilling to remain in the Arabian Sea after being targeted,” Al-Houthi stated, framing this as a significant victory for Yemeni resistance against what he called “aggressor forces.”

In his weekly address, Al-Houthi highlighted the resilience and readiness of Yemeni forces. “Hundreds of thousands of Yemeni men are undergoing training and mobilization, prepared to defend against enemy conspiracies with the help of Allah,” he said.

He emphasized the integration of popular movements and weekly demonstrations into Yemen’s broader resistance strategy, celebrating the nation’s ongoing efforts to enhance military capabilities. “Despite harsh conditions, our people have achieved remarkable military advancements acknowledged even by our enemies,” Al-Houthi added.

Al-Houthi reaffirmed Yemen’s commitment to opposing foreign dominance in the region, particularly targeting what he described as Israeli navigation and U.S. naval intimidation. He called these efforts part of Yemen’s broader resistance against international aggression and emphasized the country’s unwavering stance despite sustained conflict and external pressure.

The speech comes amid heightened tensions in the region, with Yemen asserting its role in challenging perceived foreign threats and maintaining its sovereignty. (ILKHA)
