Day 413rd of genocide: 25 civilians killed, dozens injured in latest Israeli strikes on Gaza
At least 25 civilians have been killed, and dozens more injured since dawn on Friday, as Israeli occupation forces intensified airstrikes across the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported the recovery of two bodies from the Khirbet al-Adas area, north of Rafah in southern Gaza. Additionally, a civilian succumbed to critical injuries sustained in an Israeli bombing on a tent sheltering displaced people in the al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis.
Two civilians attempting to return to their homes in the Saftawi neighborhood, northern Gaza, were also killed by Israeli fire. Several others were injured in a drone strike in Jabalia al-Nazla in northern Gaza.
In Shuja’iyya, east of Gaza City, an air raid targeting the Abu Asmar family’s house claimed the lives of eight civilians, with several others wounded. Another airstrike on the al-Naser neighborhood of Gaza City killed three civilians.
In Mawasi Al-Qarara, west of Khan Yunis, a mother and her child were killed in an air raid that left the father seriously injured. Meanwhile, two civilians were killed and several others injured when an airstrike hit the Abu Samra family home in Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza.
The Israeli offensive, ongoing since October 7, 2023, has resulted in the deaths of 44,056 Palestinians, with 104,268 others injured. Thousands remain missing, either trapped under rubble or unaccounted for, as rescue teams face severe obstacles due to relentless airstrikes and widespread destruction.
The humanitarian toll continues to rise, with civilians bearing the brunt of the violence in the besieged Gaza Strip. (ILKHA)
