Dr. Hussam Abu Safia, Director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahiya, confirmed that dozens of bodies, primarily women and children, were brought to the hospital following the attacks. “Many more remain trapped under the rubble, with no means of rescuing them,” he stated, highlighting the dire humanitarian crisis in the area.

The situation has worsened as Israeli forces have imposed a siege on Northern Gaza, barring emergency workers from the Palestinian Civil Defence from accessing the affected areas to aid those trapped or injured.

In a related incident, Israeli airstrikes on the Al-Arouqi family home in Sheikh Radwan have left 22 people dead, including nine children.

The ongoing Israeli offensive in the besieged Gaza Strip has resulted in catastrophic loss of life and destruction. According to reports, 43,985 Palestinians have been killed, while 104,092 have been injured. Additionally, over 10,000 people are feared buried beneath the rubble of bombed homes, with rescue operations severely hindered by the blockade.

The humanitarian crisis continues to escalate as international calls for a ceasefire remain unanswered, leaving countless families in mourning and entire neighborhoods devastated. (ILKHA)
