Erdogan to attend G20 Leaders Summit in Brazil
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is set to travel to Brazil to participate in the 19th G20 Leaders Summit, scheduled to take place on November 18-19 in Rio de Janeiro.
Altun, Director of Communications for Türkiye, confirmed the visit via a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter. "President Erdoğan will attend the G20 Leaders Summit in Brazil, where world leaders will convene under the theme ‘Building a Just World and a Sustainable Planet,’" Altun announced.
The summit will include three sessions where leaders will exchange views on pressing global issues. Erdoğan is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with G20 leaders and other heads of state and government attending the event.
The Turkish delegation’s participation reflects Türkiye’s commitment to addressing global challenges, including economic stability, sustainability, and justice on the international stage.
The G20 Summit provides a significant platform for dialogue and cooperation among the world’s major economies, and Erdoğan’s presence is anticipated to bolster Türkiye's role in shaping the global agenda. (ILKHA)
