Iran signals readiness to resume nuclear talks under previous agreements

Following the talks, Iran's lead negotiator, Abbas Araghchi, described the discussions as “constructive,” outlining that the agenda for cooperation with the IAEA over the coming year would be particularly significant for Iran's nuclear issue. Araghchi emphasized that Iran’s willingness to participate in future nuclear talks hinges on the seriousness and commitment of the other negotiating parties.

Addressing concerns around recent resolutions issued by various international bodies, Araghchi argued that such resolutions have, at times, complicated the issues rather than resolving them. He expressed hope that cooperation, rather than confrontation, would be prioritized to foster productive dialogue and progress.

“We hope the other parties involved will adopt a wise and cooperative approach,” Araghchi stated, underscoring Iran’s commitment to a collaborative path forward in resolving nuclear-related concerns.

This announcement comes amid ongoing international scrutiny over Iran's nuclear program and may signal a potential shift towards renewed diplomatic engagement. (ILKHA)
