In a letter addressed to the leaders attended the extraordinary joint summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League held in Riyadh, the scholars emphasized the severe oppression and systematic starvation policies imposed by the Israeli accupation regime. They stressed that, in light of the ongoing injustice faced by the people of Gaza, the command of Almighty Allah—"Stop them, for they will be questioned"—and the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, "Each of you is a shepherd, and each of you is responsible for his flock. An imam is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock," necessitate immediate and decisive action.

The scholars put forth several urgent demands to the leaders:

1-Halt the Genocide: Leveraging their influence and relationships with other nations, leaders must urgently work to stop the brutal war and genocide. History and Almighty Allah will recognize and reward their honorable stance, and future generations will remember it.

2-Break the Blockade: Implement the decision made at the Riyadh Summit a year ago to lift the blockade on Gaza and provide essential life supplies to the region, where the humanitarian catastrophe has reached unimaginable proportions.

3-Solidarity Delegation: Form a delegation comprising heads of state and political leaders, with scholars prepared to join, to visit Gaza and demonstrate solidarity with the people.

4-Reconstruction and Healthcare: Ensure the reconstruction of hospitals, establish a sufficient number of medical facilities, and send specialist doctors. Leaders must also take responsibility for treating the wounded and caring for orphans and widows.

5-Facilitate Aid Efforts: Enable humanitarian organizations and aid groups to operate freely and encourage the public to support Gaza through solidarity and aid efforts.

6-Cut Ties with the Zionist Regime: Cease all relations, normalization processes, and forms of cooperation with the Zionist regime, and do not support any actions that enable their continued crimes.

7-Support the Resistance: Embrace, protect, and advocate for the legitimate resistance under divine and international laws, which stands at the forefront of defending the Ummah and its people.

The letter concluded with a heartfelt appeal to the leaders, reminding them of their duty to act in the face of the suffering in Gaza. The scholars urged the summit to be an occasion of honorable action that pleases Almighty Allah and leaves a proud legacy in history.
