U.S.-British coalition launches new airstrikes in Yemen
The US-led coalition intensified its military campaign in Yemen on Tuesday, launching three airstrikes on the al-Fazah area in the al-Tuhayta district, south of Hodeidah governorate.
This follows a series of airstrikes conducted on Monday, targeting both Saada and Amran provinces. Seven airstrikes heavily bombarded the Bart and Sufyan junction in Amran, while two others struck al-Rahba in the al-Safraa province of Saada.
Yemeni military sources have confirmed that no casualties were reported as a result of these attacks.
The renewed aggression comes after ten airstrikes were carried out on Sanaa and Amran province on Sunday. These strikes targeted the al-Hafa and al-Nahdayn areas in the south and east of the capital.
The US-led coalition has been engaged in a protracted military intervention in Yemen since 2015, aiming to restore the internationally recognized government. The conflict has caused a devastating humanitarian crisis, with millions of Yemenis facing starvation and disease. (ILKHA)
