US-UK airstrikes target Yemen's Saada and Amran provinces
In the early hours of Monday morning, the United States and the United Kingdom renewed their military aggression against Yemen, launching a series of airstrikes on Saada and Amran provinces.
Security sources reported that the US-British coalition aircraft carried out seven airstrikes on the Harf Sufyan district in Amran. In Saada, two airstrikes were reported in the Al-Rahbah area of the Safra district.
This follows a series of attacks on Sunday, when the US-British coalition bombed the Jarbane area in the Sanhan district of Sanaa governorate with four airstrikes, and struck the Al-Hafa area in the capital, Sana’a, with one airstrike. Additionally, the Harf Sufyan district in Amran was targeted with two airstrikes.
On Saturday evening, the coalition launched three airstrikes on the Al-Nahdain and Al-Hafa neighborhoods in the Al-Sab’een district of Sanaa, while conducting intense reconnaissance flights over the region.
These strikes mark the latest in a continuing series of air raids on Yemen, exacerbating the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the country. (ILKHA)
