Three Palestinian detainees executed by Israeli forces following release in northern Gaza
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) reportedly executed three Palestinian detainees shortly after their release from a detention center on Saturday evening, according to local sources in Gaza.
The incident occurred near the Zikim military base in northern Gaza, where the men were released but were later targeted by an Israeli drone strike.
Eyewitnesses reported that the detainees, identified as Ali and Nadi Marouf, elderly men, and Hamza al-Hato, were killed on the seaside road near Khalidi Mosque in the northwest of Gaza City. The three had been detained by Israeli forces in October.
Their bodies were later transported to Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, which has been severely impacted by recent hostilities. This event further intensifies tensions in Gaza as the conflict between Israeli forces and Palestinian groups escalates.
Local reports indicate that Israeli forces continue to use drones for operations across Gaza, leading to increased civilian and militant casualties. This incident has sparked outrage and calls for international scrutiny of detention and engagement practices employed by Israeli forces in occupied Palestinian territories. (ILKHA)
