Gaza Health Ministry: Over 100 civilians killed or injured in latest Israeli strikes
The Gaza Health Ministry announced Tuesday that Israeli forces had conducted three major strikes across the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, resulting in at least 103 civilian casualties.
According to the Ministry’s statement, many victims remain trapped under rubble or lying in streets following the airstrikes.
The Ministry confirmed that 17 fatalities and 86 injured individuals have been transported to hospitals, while the total death toll from ongoing hostilities, which began on October 7, has now reached 43,391, with 102,347 people reported injured.
The Israeli bombardment follows a cross-border operation launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7. Since then, Gaza’s residents have faced a severe shortage of food, fuel, water, and medical supplies due to an extensive Israeli blockade, compounding the challenges for the enclave’s 2.3 million residents amid widespread infrastructure damage and displacement.
