Israeli occupation forces kill two Palestinians in Tamoun
Two Palestinians have been killed in the town of Tamoun, south of Tubas, following a prolonged Israeli military operation, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
The General Authority for Civil Affairs reported the death of a second young Palestinian, whose identity has not been disclosed, as Israeli occupation forces detained his body, raising the town’s death toll to two.
Earlier in the day, Hani Bani Odeh, a resident of Tamoun, was confirmed dead. Activists circulated a video on social media showing a military bulldozer carrying a body while withdrawing from the town, sparking outrage.
The first fatality occurred at dawn when Israeli forces surrounded Bani Odeh in a house and used Energa shells before entering the building. Following the incident, medical teams transferred his body to Tubas Hospital.
The Israeli forces began their operations before midnight, remaining in Tamoun for over seven continuous hours. Concurrently, they raided the Far'a refugee camp, located south of Tubas, deploying throughout the area and bulldozing streets and infrastructure.
The overnight operation marks a continuation of intense military activity across the occupied territories, drawing condemnation from local officials and rights groups. (ILKHA)
