The strikes, according to YAF spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree, were conducted "in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance."

In a televised statement, Brig. Gen. Saree detailed the three operations, which all reportedly achieved precise hits. The first strike targeted the vessel SC MONTREAL in the southern Arabian Sea, using two drones. The second operation involved a cruise missile launched at the vessel MAERSK KOWLOON in the Arabian Sea. The third operation, carried out by YAF’s Naval and Missile Forces, struck the vessel MOTARO in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab Strait with multiple ballistic missiles.

According to Saree, these vessels were targeted due to their companies’ violation of the ban imposed by the YAF on entry to Israeli-occupied ports.

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported an incident 25 nautical miles south of Yemen’s Mokha, while maritime security firm Ambrey noted that a Liberia-flagged tanker was struck by an unidentified projectile 73 nautical miles southwest of Hodeidah.

Brig. Gen. Saree reaffirmed the YAF's commitment to the blockade and missile and drone operations against Israeli targets, stating that these would continue until Israel halts its actions in Gaza and Lebanon.

Dayfallah al-Shami, a member of the Yemeni Ansar Allah Political Bureau, echoed this support, expressing the Yemeni people's readiness to join the frontlines if the geographic barrier could be overcome. (ILKHA)
