The ongoing attacks, concentrated primarily in northern Gaza, have led to significant civilian loss, with daily reports indicating mounting fatalities and injuries amid what Palestinian authorities describe as deliberate targeting of civilian infrastructure.

In the past two days alone, Israeli forces carried out five large-scale attacks, killing 96 Palestinians, including women, children, and elderly, and injuring another 277 people, according to the Health Ministry's latest figures. The scale of destruction has strained Gaza’s already scarce medical resources, with many injured unable to access the limited operational hospitals and emergency services hampered by continuous strikes.

Officials report that civilian infrastructure, including schools, hospitals, and places of worship, has been heavily impacted. This includes deliberate strikes on rescue personnel, which have hindered efforts to recover and treat those trapped beneath rubble. Human rights advocates and Palestinian leaders are urging immediate international intervention to prevent further loss of life and to address what they call an escalating humanitarian disaster.

As the conflict enters its 388th day, the escalating death toll and relentless assault on Gaza underscore the urgent need for humanitarian access and a cessation of hostilities to aid those affected by the ongoing violence. (ILKHA)
